Target Identification
The identification of potential targets is an essential part of any investment strategy. A thorough pre-selection helps you to decide which investment should be further pursued, for example within the context of a due diligence. For this purpose, we look at a complete market – that has previously been defined by you – and carry out a classification of the market participants. In this process we answer, among others, questions about the structure of the respective market and its active business models. Pre Due Diligence
Contrary to a complete due diligence, a pre due diligence can be carried out without access to company data. This is an external view of the target company, from which initial estimates regarding – among others – market size, market shares and competitive situation can be derived.
This outside-in analysis provides you with a good initial overview of a potential target and, based on this information, you can decide on further proceedings.
